Wolfgang Daum, PhD

As serial entrepreneur, executive and investor, Wolfgang has successfully helped build and exited from several life science companies, principally in the areas of radiology, inflammation, genomics, neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular diseases, bioinformatics, oncology, longevity, life science tools, and wellness. Companies cover wide technological spectrum in the fields of therapeutics, diagnostics, devices, and services. Wolfgang is member of the Carlyle Global network of family wealth holder peers from where he and others invest in life science companies. Wolfgang studied physics in Gӧttingen and Hamburg, both Germany, and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering. He lives with his family on the San Francisco Peninsula.
